Online sports betting site 888Sport have been announced as the Official Betting Partner of the Cheltenham Showcase meeting and will sponsor four race meetings across the two-day event.
The Cheltenham Showcase meeting is the track’s opening fixture of the 2021/22 season and takes place over Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd of October.
The Cheltenham Festival will take place at the racecourse five months later from Tuesday 15th to Friday 18th March and WhichBookie racing analysts Will Smith and Andrew Blair White will be providing Cheltenham betting tips up to and throughout the festival including these ante-post tips for the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle and the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle.
Cheltenham Showcase Meeting 22nd-23rd October
The What’s Your Thinking Novices’ Hurdle and 888sport Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase will both be sponsored by the sports betting operator on the Friday followed by two headline 888sport-sponsored Handicap Chases at 14.20 and 15.30.

Barry Geraghty – 888Sport UK & Ireland Horse Racing Ambassador
Former jockey Barry Geraghty has partnered with 888Sport and come on board as the brands’ Horse Racing Ambassador in the UK & Ireland. Geraghty will be sharing his expert analysis of the biggest fixtures of the season along with teaming up with some legendary names in the sport to provide feature-length interviews.

Keep an eye out for a special ‘season preview’ from 888Sport and Irish trainer Henry de Bromhead which will be released ahead of the Cheltenham Showcase meeting. The preview will see de Bromhead sit down with Geraghty to discuss his runners, Honeysuckle, Minella Times and Bob Olinger.
