Crazy Time is a unique and exciting live game show which is based on another of Evolution Gaming’s live games – Dream Catcher and if you thought that game was fun, you really need to take a look at what Crazy Time has to offer!
There is the chance for multipliers of up to 25,000x to be added to each and every betting round and there are no less than four bonus rounds which have a 1 in 6 chance of landing.
Ok, so let’s get into how Crazy Time works.
The main game round starts with a slot machine spinning to reveal whether or not a multiplier will be added to the betting round. The two-reel slot can land on a bet spot and a corresponding multiplier. If that bet wins in the game round, winnings will be multiplied by the multiplier amount.
Next, the main wheel is spun.
Before either the top slot or the wheel is spun, players must place their bets. The betting options are as follows:
The live host spins the wheel and if the pointer lands on a number, all bets are paid at the corresponding payout. However, should the pointer land on one of the four bonus games, all players who placed a bet on that bonus, will get to play.
Below are explanations of each of the four bonus games.
The Coin Flip bonus game is the most common of the four bonus rounds as there are 4 Coin Flip segments on the wheel.
During the Coin Flip bonus, two multipliers are displayed at random with one being assigned to the blue side of the coin and one to the red side of the coin. The live dealer then presses a button which flips a real coin disc and whichever colour is facing up when it lands, determines the multiplier that players receive based on their initial stake.
If you’ve been to a fun fair and seen the games where you have to shoot moving targets from a reel, then you’ll find the Cash Hunt game of Crazy Time familiar.
There are 108 symbols displayed on a shooting gallery with each assigned to a hidden multiplier. Players simply need to select one of these symbols and a virtual cannon will fire a shot, knock your symbol down and reveal the multiplier. Your original stake on Cash Hunt will then be multiplied by this amount.
Pachinko is an old Japanese game where a ball is dropped and makes its way through a series of pins to randomly fall into a slot and that is similar to how the Crazy Time Pachinko bonus game works. If you’ve ever watched the TV game show ‘The Wall’ hosted by Danny Dyer, you will also be familiar with this game.
A number of multipliers are assigned to the various slots at the bottom on the large Pachinko wall. A disk is then dropped from the top and randomly makes it’s way down the wall, eventually landing in one of these slots. Whichever slot the disk lands in, the player will win the corresponding multiplier amount based on their initial stake.
Some of the slots can also feature a ‘DOUBLE’ instead of a multiplier. If the disk lands in this slot, it will be dropped from the top a second time but with all multipliers doubled!
Multipliers can reach a maximum of 10,000x on the Pachinko bonus game!
The Crazy Time bonus has the most potential out of the four bonus rounds with multipliers reaching up to 20,000x!
During the Crazy Time bonus, players have the option to choose the Green, Blue or Yellow pointer. The large Crazy Wheel is then spun and the Green, Blue and Yellow pointers will land in a segment, each of which contains a multiplier. The player will then win the corresponding multiplier amount based on their initial stake.
Similar to the Pachinko bonus game, segments can also contain a ‘DOUBLE’ but also a ‘TRIPLE’. If the pointer lands on a double or triple, players who chose that colour pointer will get to spin the wheel again with all multipliers doubled or tripled.

So, now you know how to play Crazy Time, let’s take a look at the math and the RTP (Return To Player) of the game.
The overall RTP of Crazy Time is 95.50%.
This is similar to the RTP of other Evolution Gaming live game RTPs as shown below.
The table below shows the payouts and the probabilities for each of the 8 betting options.
Bet | Number of Segments | Payout | Probability | Odds |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 20 | 1x | 37% | 1 in 2.79 |
2 | 13 | 2x | 24% | 1 in 4.17 |
5 | 7 | 5x | 13% | 1 in 7.69 |
10 | 4 | 10x | 7.4% | 1 in 13.51 |
Coin Flip | 4 | Coin Flip Bonus | 7.4% | 1 in 13.51 |
Cash Hunt | 2 | Cash Hunt Bonus | 3.7% | 1 in 27 |
Pachinko | 2 | Pachinko Bonus | 3.7% | 1 in 27 |
Crazy Time | 1 | Crazy Time Bonus | 1.85% | 1 in 54 |
You’ll notice that the payouts of betting on the numbers are quite a lot less than the actual probability of those numbers landing. However, this is compensated by the potential of big wins during bonus rounds.
