It’s been a great two days of racing at the Cheltenham Festival and it’s been even better for one lucky punter who landed a HUGE seven-fold each way accumulator on Wednesday’s races.
It was the shorter-priced runners that dominated Day 2 at Cheltenham with favourites winning five of the seven races. Yesterday proved a little more lucrative for outsider bets as Maskada stormed the Grand Annual to beat favourite Dinoblue at a relatively big price of 22/1. However, one winning punter proved that you do not need to back short-priced favourites, or even winners, to land a big return.
The lucky punter placed an accumulator with William Hill which consisted of seven outsiders, all running in races at Cheltenham on Wednesday. Despite only picking on winner, the return from their bet was a hefty £40,929.31 from just a £0.50 each way acca with a total stake of just £1!
