The national finals for Eurovision 2023 are now over and each country has decided on an act to represent their nation. With the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest still a while away, fans look towards the various pre-parties that are scheduled to be held in cities around the world for their Eurovision fix.
Eurovision pre-parties are events held in different cities across Europe in the lead-up to the Eurovision Song Contest. These events serve as a promotional platform for the participating countries to showcase their songs and performers to a wider audience before the actual competition.
The first Eurovision pre-party was held in Amsterdam in 2009, and since then, many other cities have hosted similar events, including London, Madrid, Tel Aviv, Moscow, and Riga. These pre-parties usually feature performances by the participating artists and sometimes even former Eurovision winners and contestants.
In addition to the performances, the Eurovision pre-parties also offer opportunities for interviews, meet and greets, and photo sessions with the artists, giving fans a chance to get up close and personal with their favourite performers before the big show. They’re also a great chance to see the acts live and get a better idea of each countries chances in the competition if you are looking to bet on Eurovision.
Pre-parties for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest will take place throughout March and April. There are 6 major events planned in major cities across Europe which include London, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam, Tel Aviv and Warsaw.
The first of the Eurovision pre-parties takes place in Barcelona on Thursday 23rd March.
