GGBET is a new player in the UK market but the brand has actually been around since 2016.

Although GGBET offers both casino and sports betting, their main focus has always been on Esports with them covering several of the biggest leagues and tournaments such as Dota 2, League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) and several others.

In this GGBET review, we’ll be taking a look at all areas of the brand, seeing what they offer, how they compare to other online betting sites and whether or not we recommend this new brand to UK punters.

Sports Betting

The first area of GGBET that we’ll look at is sports betting. As mentioned, they focus primarily on Esports but offer betting options on almost 40 different sports.

You’ll find markets available for sports such as football, tennis, basketball, cricket, golf, boxing, rugby, snooker and many more.

As for prices, we did find GGBET to be a little short compared to the likes of Bet365, William Hill and other top bookies. We compared the odds for various sports and markets and GGBET unfortunately rarely beat the more established brands.

We have no complaints with the range of sports or markets on offer. For football bets, customers generally have over 300 different betting options including standard bets, Bet Builders, Combi Markets and more.

Horse Racing

Like many new UK bookmakers, GGBET does not offer horse racing. This may change in the future but for now, if you wish to bet on racing, we recommend other bookmakers such as Bet365, Betfred, William Hill or Virgin Bet.

In-Play Betting

GGBET offers in-play betting on several live sporting events throughout the day and night. The dedicated live betting section displays in-play events for several sports including football, tennis, basketball, cricket, table tennis, Esports and more.

There are some nice live betting features available on GGBET such as the Live Calendar which displays upcoming events, the Results Page and the Event View which shows what is currently happening in each event such as when a corner kick is taken in a football match or when a double fault is made in tennis.

Like their pre-match odds, in-play prices at GGBET aren’t very generous. However, they weren’t so bad that we’d class them a cause for concern and are acceptable if you don’t have accounts with other bookies.

Live Streaming

Live streaming is not a feature that is currently available at GGBET. Not many newly launched bookmakers offer a live streaming service and so it wasn’t too much of surprise not to see it implemented yet.

However, match stats are available for many live sporting events along with the live event view which is mentioned in the section above.

There are several customer support options available which is great to see for a new bookie. With GGBET being run on a fairly unique platform, customers may have questions and so having several ways to get in touch with the support team is very useful.

Being a brand new betting site, GGBET does not currently have an app available to users.

They do have a fully responsive website however which is extremely quick and works perfectly across all screen sizes and devices.

GGBET Casino

As well as being able to bet on almost 40 different sports, customers can enjoy several hundred games in the GGBET Casino.

Games are supplied from various top providers including Play n Go, Red Tiger, iSoftBet, NetEnt, ELK Studios, Gamevy, Thunderkick and more.

The GGBET Casino does have a good range of slots available but their catalogue lacks in other departments. Currently, there are no table or card games such as Blackjack or Roulette available, unless you play the live dealer versions, along with no instant wins or other games.

If you prefer live dealer games, GGBET offers live blackjack, roulette, baccarat, super sic bo, and 2 hand casino hold’em, along with a small selection of live gameshows which include Crazy Time and Mega Ball.

Slots players will most likely be satisfied with the offering in the GGBET Casino but some players may be disappointed with the overall selection of available games.

GGBET offers several options for both deposits and withdrawals.

Firstly, there are no fees for any banking method which is great to see and the minimum deposit is £10 across all options.

Summary

It’s always good to see new brands enter the UK market, especially established ones which have been successful in other countries.

Although we didn’t find much wrong with GGBET, we failed to find anything that made the brand stand out from some of the more established bookies.

There is a good range of sports to bet on but the absence of horse racing may put some UK punters off. They also fall short in their casino offering with a lack of table & card games available which surprised us.

Lastly, GGBET’s odds aren’t the best and didn’t hold up well against the likes of Bet365, William Hill, Betfred and others who are much better options in our opinion.
