As you can see, pretty much every sport is available to bet on at Ladbrokes. There is also an impressive number of markets for each sport. This is especially true for more popular sports such as football, tennis and basketball where there can be dozens, if not hundreds, or betting markets.
Horse Racing
Ladbrokes are a popular choice with a lot of horse racing punters whether it be betting in a Ladbrokes shop or online. You’ll often find a number of Extra Place offers as well as daily price boosts available on selected races. Ladbrokes also offer Best Odds Guaranteed on all UK & Irish horse races which can result in some nice additional returns on winning bets. They’re also one of several bookies that pay First Past The Post.

Bet Builder
Ladbrokes allows customers to have more freedom with their bets through ‘Bet Builder’ bets. These allow you to build your own bet from a number of markets and combine them into a multiple with fixed odds. For example, for a football match, you can add selections to you bet such as the total number of goals, BTTS in both halves, result after 15 minutes, team to score the most goals in the first 30 minutes, the half to produce the most goals and many others. Bet Builder bets work just like accumulators except that all selections are on the same event.
#GetAPrice
As well as having the option to build a bet from pre-set markets, you can also request a bet through Ladbrokes ‘#GetAPrice’ feature.
If you want to place a bet which isn’t already available on the Ladbrokes website, you simply need to Tweet @Ladbrokes with your bet using #GetAPrice and if possible, Ladbrokes will offer you odds.
For example, you could request a price for Aubameyang to score anytime, Nketiah to score anytime, over 4.5 corners in the first half, Aguero to get a yellow card and Arsenal to win.
In-Play Betting
As well as a large number of pre-match markets, the number of markets available to bet on in-play is also impressive at Ladbrokes.
As expected, football has the most in-play markets, especially for high-profile matches, but you’ll also find a good number of in-play markets for other sports such as tennis where you’ll be able to bet on individual points, sets, correct scores, the number of aces and more.
Live streaming is available on selected sports and events and even when a stream is not available, in-play stats can be of use. For tennis, in-play stats include the number of aces per player, double faults, service breaks, total points and more. Football stats include the number of cards per team, corners, dangerous attacks along with many others. In-play stats are available for the majority of in-play events although they can be missing for some less popular matches.
All in-play events can be found via the ‘In-Play & Streaming’ tab. Clicking on an individual event will display the in-play markets which are separated into helpful categories such as Main Markets, Goals, Scores and Players.
Live Streaming
Free live streaming is available to customers of Ladbrokes via their desktop, tablet or mobile devices.
Football, tennis, golf and basketball are just a few of the sports available to stream for free at Ladbrokes without needing to place a bet. However, you will have to have a positive account balance in order to access any of the streams.
To stream live horse racing, you must place a bet of £1 or more on the race you wish to watch. This can either be a £1 single bet or a £0.50 each way bet so long as the total stake is equal to or greater than £1.
All live streams can be accessed by clicking on the ‘In-Play & Live Streaming’ tab in the nav bar on the Ladbrokes website. You can also view all of the horse races which you have qualified to watch by visiting the ‘watch Live Racing’ page and viewing ‘My Qualified Races’. You then need to simply click on the video icon and the video player will open.
Streams usually begin around 5 minutes before the race starts and there is generally a short delay of around 5 seconds from the actual live event.
Customer Service
Ladbrokes make it easy for customers to get in touch with the support team via quick link icons at the top of the Ladbrokes website. You have the option of either browsing the help section, which contains frequently asked questions and answers, or contacting the support team directly. Ladbrokes seem to prefer customers contacting them via Twitter which seems to be the main point of contact. However, they also offer support via email, live chat and free phone. All the ladbrokes contact details can be found on the ‘Contact’ page or here on this page in the sidebar.
The majority of people prefer to use Live Chat when it comes to support queries as, providing the bookmaker has a good support system, questions are usually answered pretty quickly. Ladbrokes don’t fall short in this department with the average wait time to be connected to a support agent being less than 1 minute. We found the support agents very helpful with our queries and knowledgeable about the service.
Ladbrokes App
The Ladbrokes App is available to download for iOS and Android devices from the associated app stores. The app is just as impressive as the desktop website, if not slightly better. You’ll find all the same betting options along with access to promotions and additional features such as cash out.
By downloading the Ladbrokes App, not only will you have quick access to your account, you will also be able to receive push notifications. These can prove to be very useful as you will be notified when there are new promotions such as price boosts and free bet offers. Just remember to allow notifications from the app when you download it.
If you use an iOS device, you can also deposit into your Ladbrokes account using Apple Pay. It’s a quick and easy payment method that doesn’t require you to enter your card details and any deposit will be charged directly via your Apple account to your bank.
The Website
Ladbrokes host a unique website with a design that you won’t find anywhere else. Betting odds are displayed as slightly bigger than average buttons which makes it easy to browse markets for good odds.
The homepage displays the latest in-play events as the majority of bookmakers do, along with upcoming horse races and a carousel showing the latest promotions. Navigation between the various sports on offer is done via the main nav bar and a drop-down menu will bring up a long A-Z list of sports.
Navigation around the site is extremely easy and it isn’t hard to find a league or competition that you’re looking for. A second nav bar allows users to jump between the various sections of Ladbrokes such as the sportsbook, online casino, poker & bingo rooms, virtual sports section and the Ladbrokes exchange.
Cash Out
As you would expect from any top bookmaker, Ladbrokes allows customers to cash out their bets. Customers can choose to endtheir bets early and guarantee a return before the event has finished and their bet settled. Cash out is available on selected sports and markets and you’ll be able to find which bets are eligible for cash out by viewing your open bets. If a bet can be cashed out, there will be a cash out button with the cash out amount alongside the bet.
Ladbrokes Grid Card
Ladbrokes has land-based betting shops around the UK and allows customers to connect their in-shop betting to their online betting account via a Ladbrokes Grid card. By using a grid card, you can also cash out bets online which have been placed in a Ladbrokes shop. This is a very nice feature and will be useful to those who may have placed a bet in-store but are unable to be in the shop during the event in which they bet on.
Online Casino
As well as a leading sportsbook, Ladbrokes also provide an excellent online casino which hosts over 400 online slots from over 20 different gaming providers such as Playtech, NextGen, NetEnt, IGT, Greentube, Ash Gaming and Realistic. With such a vast range of slots available, it’s likely that you’ll find what you’re looking for.
There is also a range of table games available to play at such as Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Heads-Up Hold’em, Hi-Lo Premium, Caribbean Stud Poker, Pai Gow Poker, Red Dog, Sic Bo and many more.
If you prefer a more realistic casino experience then you may wish to try the Ladbrokes Live Casino where you can play for real money with real life dealers and croupiers. Some Live Casino games include Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Hi_Lo and Hold’em.

Customers have a good range of methods available to deposit into and withdraw from their Ladbrokes accounts ranging from card payments, E-wallets and bank transfers.
The majority of customers use card payments for transactions but if you are using E-wallets such as Skrill, PayPal or Neteller, be aware that you may not qualify for some promotions Always read the terms of the promotion if a deposit is required to participate in it and see if E-wallet deposits are eligible.
Customers who have an iOS device and download the Ladbrokes app can also use Apple Pay for deposit and withdrawals which is good to see as Apple Pay transactions are becoming increasingly popular.

Summary
Ladbrokes are somewhat of a household name and they’ve achieved that by providing an excellent betting service for over 100 years. If regular promotions, daily price boosts, a user-friendly website and even better app aren’t enough for you, then their welcome offer for new customers should be enough of a reason to register an account.
We fully recommend Ladbrokes as a quality sports betting site which has an excellent online casino to match.
