How Does The Classic Pools Work?

This half-price offer is only available on the Classic Pools game and not Goal Rush.

The Classic Pools is one of the oldest football betting formats around. Originally, a paper pool slip would be delivered to your door and you could make your selections in time for them to be collected. Now that the Classic Pools is online, you can do this from your PC, tablet or smartphone at a time that suits you.

The aim of the game is to select 10 football matches from a list of 49 that you believe will finish in score draws. You’ll receive maximum points for correct selections but also points for selections with goalless draws and those that finish with a winner.

• 2 points for a goalless draw
• 1 point for a home or away win

Once all games have been played, your points total will be calculated from the eight of your selections which are the highest scoring. There is a top prize of a whopping £3 million but you can also receive cash prizes for scoring low-mid 20 points.
