Harlem Eubank (19-0, 8KO) meets French champion Nurali Erdogan (16-3, 1KO) in Newcastle, live on Channel 5.
In his last fight with European Union titlist Timo Schwarzkopf, the visitor dragged him into a firefight, which resulted in a thrilling watch, with Eubank taking more blows than usual, culminating in an 11th-round knockout win for the Brit.
Harlem exchanged in close range, loading up on his shots to drop the German twice, using a shoulder roll to deflect and avoid damage, while countering with big hooks and uppercuts in a frenzied fight.
Not necessarily known for his power, he’s now stopped his last two opponents and will be looking to make it a hat trick on Friday.
Harlem is sharp and game, he likes to put a lot of power behind his big overhand right, which he jumps into aggressively from range. Eubank works at a high pace, which wears his opponents down over time. His aggression and willingness to open up leaves him susceptible to getting caught, which he, so far, has shown a decent durability, but his opposition haven’t been world-level yet.
Erdogan is experienced and capable, but with three defeats in the past 30 months, he is not expected to present any real danger to the home fighter.
In his last fight, the Frenchman did extraordinarily well against unbeaten Faizan Anwar earning a winning score of 95-94 on one judge’s card, which was overruled by the 96-93 and 95-94 opposing scores. He moves and feints well, but can be caught cleanly, as the sharper, quicker Anwar proved.
However, Harlem fights completely differently and the pace and pressure will be ramped up to maximum.
Erdogan has just one knockout from 19 bouts, so I think the Frenchman has been cherrypicked to make Harlem look impressive while offering little danger to his undefeated record, especially after a year away from the ring.
Eubank will be able to jump in to land his leaping overhand rights, and big hooks and uppercuts in close. Erdogan is quite open when he’s throwing his shots. When he launches a jab from his cheek, it returns down low on its way back home, nearly every time.
Trained by Adam Booth, I believe the pair will be targeting the knockout to really make a statement for his 20th victory.
He’s upped his level of competition from decent domestic fighters to experienced Europeans. If he stays active, then he will likely be looking for a world ranking in 2025, so fans can expect some big names next.
I believe Eubank is going to try to secure another KO, which I’d expect to come in the second part of the contest, because Erdogan has never been stopped before. If he doesn’t achieve the knockout, then I’d expect him to win by unanimous decision, as I don’t believe the contest will be that close.

The Round Betting market offers the opportunity to get the highest odds. Here you can bet on which fighter will win, and which round he/she will win in.
Options to bet on a fighter to win on points, or to bet on the draw, are both also included in this market. In a 12 round bout, that gives 27 different possible outcomes. Therefore, the odds on each one are naturally going to be much higher. Think of it as the equivalent of the correct score market in football betting.
So the round betting market offers the biggest potential wins when betting on boxing. But of course, it’s harder to predict the outcome. You do have the option to split your stake to cover more than one outcome though. So if you felt that a fighter would win within the first 3 rounds, you could split your stake to back him to win in round 1, round 2 and round 3. The odds would mean you’d get a good profit if any of those outcomes happened.
This is a simple market in which you decide whether the fight will last all 12 rounds or not. Therefore there are only two outcomes to bet on, Yes or No.
It’s possible to get a decent success rate when betting on this market. Check the stats and the history of each boxer and ask yourself the following:

This market allows you to bet on the total number of rounds the fight will last for. The advantage here is that you do not need to specify who will win, just how long it will last.
For example, let’s consider a market of Over/Under 3.5 Rounds. There are only two options to bet on, either Over 3.5 Rounds or Under 3.5 Rounds. Therefore, you would approach the market as follows:
