Argentina are rightfully the favourites to win as they are the defending champions of both the Copa America and the World Cup. Lionel Messi remains a fearsome attacker with plenty of fuel left in the tank and backed up by an impressive squad.

Uruguay could be the dark horse of the competition having beaten both Brazil and Argentina in the recent World Cup qualifiers. We could see Uruguay meet Argentina in the final, and after beaten the reigning champions just last fall, they are more than capable of causing further upsets.

Brazil, although second favourites to win, appear more vulnerable than ever. They showed promise back in March when they defeated England and drew against Spain in friendlies.

However, since then, their performances have been rather underwhelming, claiming just a point against both the United States and Costa Rica in their most recent matches. Therefore, we recommend avoiding bets on Brazil to win, especially given the current odds.
