Zurich Classic of New Orleans Predictions

The PGA Tour shifts gears this week for the 2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans, taking place from April 24th to 27th at TPC Louisiana in Avondale, just outside the Big Easy.

Unlike any other event on the calendar, the Zurich Classic stands out with its unique team format – the only official team event on the PGA Tour. Since 2017, two-man teams have competed over four rounds of alternating Four-ball (best ball) and Foursomes (alternate shot).

The Pete Dye-designed course stretches to 7,425 yards as a par 72 and features water hazards, sprawling bunkers, and risk-reward par 5s that add plenty of drama, particularly in team play.

Defending champions Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy, who ended his 11-year drought to win the Masters earlier in the month, return to defend their title after a thrilling 2024 performance that saw them edge the win over Chad Ramey and Martin Trainer in a playoff.
