Very tentative this one, as consistent with the racing outside of the bigger meetings at this time of year, which is either the early throes of the flat turf season or the latter stages of the jumps season, it can be a tricky period.

New to the program this season in Ireland is a boatload of 0-60 handicaps, which will cater for plenty of those horses perhaps not blessed with the highest level of ability, and this is an early example of a very winnable race.

Maybe plenty of horses ready to run at this level would be waiting for a bit more rain, and so with most of the field making their seasonal debut it is not a race for maximum objectivity. However, when the 9/4 favourite is a 43-rated filly, who was perhaps flattered by track position over a speedy 5f at Bellewstown 3 days ago, it could pay to try to find something to take Lismacbryan Hill on with.

Standing dishes Gegenpressing, Step Back In Time, Stanhope and Navarosse might just find it tougher to get going this early in the season with ageing bones, and so a chance is taken on Little Mi Mi.

She has run very well fresh on a few occasions, and her 2^nd over course and distance in a first-time tongue-tie last September is probably the most relevant piece of form. Little Mi Mi’s two runs before that were also very credible, and if you can forgive her the poor run at the end of last season, she looks overpriced at 9/1 on the pick of her early form last term.
