Stratford Racecourse, or Stratford-on-Avon Racecourse as it is officially known, is situated in Warwickshire and holds jump race meets from March until November each year.

It’s a relatively small venue but one that is extremely popular due to its relaxed atmosphere and dress code compared to other racecourses such as Ascot or Epsom which makes it the perfect destination for new racegoers.

The large fences and water jump that is situated in close proximity to the winning post means that good jumpers tend to do better at this course.

Stratford Feature Races

Stratford Racecourse hosts fixtures from March through to November annually.

The Stratford Foxhunters’ Champion Chase and the Stratford Summer Cup are two of the biggest events at the course.

First staged in 1958, the Stratford Foxhunters’ Champion Chase is part of an evening meeting in May and is run over three and a half miles. It is seen as the third part of the Hunter Chase crown with the other two being the Cheltenham and Aintree Foxhunters.

The Stratford Summer Cup takes place in July and is run over a distance of two miles and one furlong.
