Gateshead go into this match with a 50/50 record having claimed an away win and home loss so far this season. With home advantage maybe playing less of a role in Covid times, Gateshead will be hoping to keep their 100% away record.

Assistant manager Ian Watson is hoping Gateshead can carry on as they’ve started away from home. “Last season we didn’t start great on the road and then we picked up towards the back end of the season.
“This year we don’t want that to be the case, we want to be a good side away from home that is going to pick up points.
“It’s our first long trip but we don’t want that to affect us too much, we just want to turn up, be professional on the day, take what we’ve learned this week and put it into practice on Saturday to get a result.”
